JAKARTA- Sinarmas LDA Usaha Pelabuhan (SLUP), a subsidiary of Sinarmas LDA Maritime (SLM) attended the IX Indonesian Port Business Association/Asosiasi Badan Usaha Pelabuhan Indonesia (ABUPI) Seminar on Thursday (06/06/2024) at Aryaduta Hotel Jakarta. This event is part of the ABUPI National Seminar and Rakernas 2024 which aims to give appreciation to companies that have demonstrated superior performance and service among port service providers.
The event aimed to recognize companies that have made important contributions to improving the efficiency of the industry and the development of national ports. The theme of the seminar was “Port Services Industry as a Bridge to Golden Indonesia 2045”.
As a form of appreciation for dedication and commitment, SLUP was chosen as the company that received the “ABUPI Appreciation 2024”. On this occasion, SLUP Tarahan Site Manager, Susmartono, was appointed as ABUPI Lampung Regional Coordinator for the 2024 – 2025 term.
“Happy birthday to the Indonesian Port Business Association (ABUPI). Move forward in contributing to the logistics sector in Indonesia,” said Chief Operations Officer of Sinarmas LDA Usaha Pelabuhan, Azis Muttaqien, who also attended the ABUPI IX Seminar.
Achieving Awards in Mangrove Field
A few days after attending the ABUPI Seminar, Sinarmas LDA Maritime (SLM) received an invitation for an award in the mangrove sector. The Jakarta Mangrove Community, as the organizer, invited Sinarmas LDA Maritime to receive an award at the Mangrove Awarding Night with the theme “Harmony in Green: A Night of Sustainable Excellence”.
The award was received on Friday (07/06/2024) at The Acacia Hotel Jakarta and was the first time the Jakarta Mangrove Community organized an awarding night. This award was received by SLM for its outstanding contribution to the preservation and restoration of mangrove ecosystems. The award was presented by the Founder of the Jakarta Mangrove Community Paundra Hanutama and received by Head of Human Resources Sinarmas LDA Maritime Sari Herawati.
This award was given by the Jakarta Mangrove Community because the community believes that SLM’s dedication and commitment in managing the environment can exemplify good organizational values and be an inspiration to others.
Head of Human Resources of Sinarmas LDA Maritime Sari Herawati revealed that, in addition to focusing on business, SLM also wants to give more attention to humanitarian and environmental charities in the form of CSR. On behalf of Sinarmas LDA Maritime, she felt very honored to receive the Mangrove Conservation Mobility Excellence Award at this prestigious Mangrove Awards Night.

Through this collaboration, we hope to make a real contribution to environmental conservation through mangrove planting,” Sari concluded.
