Supporting Indonesian Tourism, Sinarmas LDA Maritime Supports Vertical Telomoyo Trail Run 2023

MAGELANG – After providing its support to the Merumatta Coast Trail Run, Sinarmas LDA Maritime is once again providing its support to the organisation of a similar trail run event. The event is the Vertical Telomoyo Trail Run 2023. This trail running event was held on Sunday (1/10/2023) and is a cross-country run that takes place on Telomoyo Mountain, Central Java.

This trail running event is divided into two categories based on distance, namely 7 KM (for students, public and masters over 40 years old) and 27 KM (for the public). The cut off time for both categories was different, with 3 hours for the 7 KM category and 8 hours for the 27 KM category.

A number of running participants came from various regions such as Jakarta, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Surabaya and Lombok. On this occasion, Sinarmas LDA Maritime sent two of its employees to explore the trail terrain of Telomoyo Mountain and Andong Mountain, namely Yoga Aji from Crewing (7 KM) and Veby Senopati from QHSE (27 KM).

In the 7 KM category, participants ran from the gate to the top of Telomoyo Mountain with an Elevation Gain of 810m. While in the 27 KM category, participants ran on Telomoyo Mountain and Andong Mountain with an Elevation Gain of 1,420m.

Sinarmas LDA Maritime CEO Matthieu Lavoine expressed his support for the Vertical Telomoyo Run 2023. According to Matthieu, this trail run event can help promote the tourist attractions of Andong Mountain and Telomoyo Mountain in Magelang, Central Java.

“After providing support for the Merumatta Coast Trail Run earlier this year, SLM is once again providing support for a similar event. We feel enthusiastic in providing support, especially for the development of trail running as a form of sports tourism in mountainous areas, especially Andong and Telomoyo Mountains,” Matthieu concluded.
