Sinarmas LDA Usaha Pelabuhan Partners with East Java Multipurpose Terminal

LAMONGAN – Sinarmas LDA Port Operations (SLUP) has partnered with and been appointed by East Java Multipurpose Terminal (EJMT) as the provider of Infrastructure and Facilities for Pilotage and Tugboat services (Wednesday, October 30, 2024). EJMT is part of International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI), operating in Lamongan Regency, Indonesia.

Under this partnership, SLUP will deploy two Azimuth Stern Drive tugboats with Z-peller propulsion systems, with total engine power of 6,200 horsepower, and will provide Maritime Pilot Class 1 services to support EJMT and Lamongan Shorebase terminal pilotage operations.

David Lim, CEO of Eastern Logistics, explained that “SLUP’s tugboats are equipped with first-class firefighting capabilities, including dual monitors for water or foam, significantly enhancing the maritime emergency response capacity at our port.”

This partnership begins in November 2024, supporting the safe movement of ships and barges in the Tanjung Pakis – Brondong Port General Terminal area.
