Sinarmas LDA Maritime Organizes CSR Ramadan with Iftar (Breakfast) with Orphans

JAKARTA – Ramadan 1444 H is a momentum for Sinarmas LDA Maritime to be able to share with others. On this occasion, Sinarmas LDA Maritime held an iftar (breakfast) event together and also invited the Yayasan Yatim Piatu Nurul Iman Jafariah (Nurul Iman Jafariah Orphanage Foundation).

Sinarmas LDA Maritime held an iftar (breakfast) activity together at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski on Wednesday (12/04/2023). This breakfasting activity was also held as a form of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the month of Ramadan. This activity was attended by the management, employees of Sinarmas LDA Maritime and representatives of foster children from Yayasan Yatim Piatu Nurul Iman Jafariah, Jakarta.

Sinarmas LDA Maritime CEO Matthieu Lavoine expressed his gratitude in organizing CSR activities along with donations for orphans. Not only donations for education funds, Sinarmas LDA Maritime also collaborated with Tzu Chi Sinarmas to provide daily needs packages for the orphans.

The symbolic handover of the donation was carried out by Sinarmas LDA Maritime CEO Matthieu Lavoine to Nurul Iman Foundation Jafariah Supervisor Nina. While the symbolic handover of the daily needs package was given by Sinarmas LDA Maritime QHSE Head Yann Jaubard to Nurul Iman Jafariah Foundation Supervisor Nina.

“We successfully established cooperation between SLM and Yayasan Yatim Piatu Nurul Iman Jafariah for Ramadan charity activities. So far, we believe that Yayasan Yatim Piatu Nurul Iman Jafariah is the right partner for us as the orphanage has taken care of around 50 children and they need support in various phases of their lives in the future,” Matthieu explained.

Matthieu hopes that the donation for CSR can be a real step in Sinarmas LDA Maritime’s commitment in contributing to others. He further added, hopefully this Ramadan will be the right momentum to share kindness to those in need.
