JAKARTA – Welcoming the holy month of Ramadan 1445, Sinarmas LDA Maritime again held a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program and shared with others. Like last year, Sinarmas LDA Maritime again held a breakfasting event together and invited the Nurul Iman Jafariah Orphanage Foundation.

Sinarmas LDA Maritime held a breakfasting event at Zoti Restaurant, Wahid Hasyim on Wednesday (20/03/2024). This breakfasting activity was also organized as a form of CSR in the month of Ramadan. The activity titled “SLM Iftar 2024” was attended by the management, employees of Sinarmas LDA Maritime, representatives of Tzu Chi Sinarmas and the Nurul Iman Jafariah Orphanage Foundation, Jakarta.

The symbolic handover of the donation was carried out by Sinarmas LDA Maritime CEO Matthieu Lavoine to Nurul Iman Jafariah Orphan Foundation Supervisor Nina. While the symbolic handover of the daily necessities package was given by Tzu Chi Sinar Mas Project & Program Coordinator Anita Dradjat to Nurul Iman Jafariah Orphan Foundation Supervisor Nina.

“Continuing what we did last year, this year we also collaborated with Yayasan Yatim Piatu Nurul Iman Jafariah for Ramadan charity activities. I would also like to thank Tzu Chi Sinarmas for providing its support for this charity program. Yayasan Yatim Piatu Nurul Iman Jafariah is the right partner for us because this orphanage has cared for around 44 orphans who need support in various phases of their lives in the future,” said Sinarmas LDA Maritime CEO Matthieu Lavoine in his welcoming speech.

In line with this, Nurul Iman Orphan Foundation Supervisor Jafariah Nina expressed her gratitude for the opportunity given. Nina hopes that this can motivate children to always be enthusiastic in welcoming the future.

“In this blessed month, it feels so special because it is a tangible form of our concern for disadvantaged children. Thank you SLM for spreading kindness to the orphans from our orphanage,” Nina concluded.
