JAKARTA (05/05/2026) – Sinarmas LDA Maritime has announced the winners of “The Best Vessel” program for the first quarter of 2026 as a form of appreciation for the outstanding performance of vessel crews in maintaining operational standards and workplace safety.

The vessels awarded The Best Vessel Q1 2026 are SLM Josephine (Self-propelled barge), Sea Puli (harbor tug), SLM Apollo 2 / SLM Artemis 2 (Liquid Tug – SLM), SLM Apollo 5 (Dry Tug), and Mitra Kencana 4 (Liquid Tug – SSKI). This achievement reflects the crews’ dedication, discipline, and strong commitment to conducting operations in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.

Launched in January 2026, “The Best Vessel” program is a strategic initiative aimed at strengthening a culture of excellence within vessel operations. The evaluation is conducted quarterly based on monthly incentive assessments by the Operational and Technical teams, with key criteria including zero accidents, zero disciplinary violations, and full compliance with the Company’s operational standards.

In addition to operational performance, the program also encourages active participation from vessel crews in strengthening the Company’s image through onboard activity documentation. Content published through Corporate Communication serves as added value in the evaluation process while showcasing professionalism and a strong safety culture in the field.

As a form of appreciation, the selected vessels will receive special awards. Vessels that consistently maintain their performance over consecutive periods will also be granted additional onboard facilities to enhance crew comfort.
