Pacific High Indonesia & Alur Biru Pariwisata announce the signing of Project 48m, a four-cabin Phinisi yacht

Bali, Indonesia – October 29, 2025

Pacific High Indonesia (PHI) and Alur Biru Pariwisata (ABP) are pleased to announce the signing of an ambitious new yacht construction project. Building on the successful partnership that delivered the 36-meter Sanya earlier this year, the two companies will collaborate on Project 48m, a four-cabin Phinisi yacht that represents ABP’s continued commitment to expanding its premium charter fleet in Indonesia.

Owned by PT ABP with Pacific High Indonesia serving as designer, builder, manager and operator, Project 48m embodies a comprehensive partnership model that has proven successful with previous collaborations between the two companies.

The keel laying ceremony for Project 48m took place yesterday, October 28, 2025, at the Pacific High shipyard in Bira, Sulawesi, officially marking the commencement of construction for this significant addition to Indonesia’s growing high-end yacht charter market.

Project 48m builds on the design philosophy established with Sanya, combining traditional Phinisi craftsmanship with contemporary yacht amenities to create an intimate yet refined charter experience. The four-cabin configuration will accommodate discerning guests seeking exclusive access to Indonesia’s world-renowned cruising destinations, from the dramatic landscapes of Komodo National Park to the pristine waters of Raja Ampat.

“With the success of Sanya, ABP is moving forward with its dream of its own fleet together with Pacific High,” says Matthieu Lavoine, CEO of Alur Biru Pariwisata and Alur Biru Maritim. “This partnership demonstrates our confidence in the growing demand for authentic, high-quality yachting experiences in Indonesia, and our commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality at sea.”

Yann Martinie de Maisonneuve, Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of Pacific High, shares this enthusiasm for the expanding partnership. “We are honoured with the trust from ABP to design, build, manage and operate ABP yachts. This project marks a significant milestone in our journey together—from delivering Sanya to now embarking on an even more ambitious yacht. Project 48m will showcase the full potential of Indonesian craftsmanship while meeting the evolving expectations of charter guests who seek authentic, transformative experiences in these extraordinary waters.”

The construction of Project 48m at the Pacific High shipyard in Bira underscores the region’s reputation as a centre of excellence for traditional Phinisi boatbuilding, a craft recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage. With PHI’s proven track record in design, construction and yacht management, combined with ABP’s strategic vision for Indonesia’s luxury tourism sector, Project 48m is poised to set new standards in the country’s premium yacht charter market.

Further details about Project 48m’s design, specifications, and launch timeline will be announced in the coming months.
