Coinciding with the 11th anniversary celebration on July 16, 2025, Sinarmas LDA Maritime (SLM) marked another important milestone with the official launch of its latest tug boat, SLM HERAKLES 3, at the Tuong Aik Shipyard. This launch represents the company’s ongoing commitment to growth and the strengthening of its maritime support infrastructure.

The SLM HERAKLES 3 is equipped with 2,400 HP of power and is specifically designed to support the maneuvering of larger vessels in ports and narrow waters. With its reliable engine and modern design, the tug boat is expected to improve operational efficiency and enhance safety in towing and assist tug operations.

This launch is also part of SLM’s broader strategy to develop a robust supporting fleet. Currently, two additional tug boats of the same type are under construction at the same shipyard. These vessels are part of a long-term fleet enhancement program designed to meet the growing complexity of marine logistics.

With the addition of these new vessels, SLM is confident in its ability to continue providing reliable, safe, and timely maritime services to clients while supporting the advancement of the national sea logistics sector.
