Encouraging Indonesia’s Tourism Development, Sinarmas LDA Maritime Supports Merumatta Coast Trail 2023

LOMBOK – Sinarmas LDA Maritime (SLM) is an integrated logistics service provider and shipping company that offers bulk cargo transportation services and port services throughout Indonesia.

Not only focusing on business in shipping logistics, Sinarmas LDA Maritime also proves its commitment to encourage the development of Indonesian tourism. One of them is realized by supporting the Merumatta Coast Trail 2023 held at Senggigi Beach, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. This activity was held on Tuesday (26/02/2023).

Sinarmas LDA Maritime Chief Executive Officer Matthieu Lavoine expressed his support for the organization of this Coast Trail event. Moreover, because the Merumatta Coast Trail aims to promote Senggigi Lombok beach tourism as the main attraction of natural and beach tourism in West Lombok Regency, Nusa Tenggara.

“Engaged in shipping logistics, SLM understands the importance of oceans and coastlines. We feel enthusiastic in providing support, especially for the development of trail running as a major sports tourism destination in NTB Province and the development of Senggigi Lombok beach tourism,” Matthieu explained.

Merumatta Coast Trail Run is divided into 3 categories, namely 8 km, 15 km and 25 km with cut off times varying between 2 hours to 7 hours. This nature tourism activity presents various interesting views such as Senggigi Beach, Mangsit Hill, Batu Penyu Peak, Rajengkunyi Peak, Loco Peak, Kerandangan and Merumatta. At this event, Sinarmas LDA Maritime was represented by QHSE Assistant Manager Veby Senopati Silam.
