JAKARTA – Sinarmas LDA Maritime (SLM) is an integrated logistics service provider and shipping company that offers bulk cargo transportation services and port services throughout Indonesia. Not only focusing on business in shipping logistics, Sinarmas LDA Maritime has also proven its commitment to helping others, such as through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) recently realized in terms of donations given to Yayasan Tzu Chi Sinar Mas.

The CSR donation was symbolically handed over by Sinarmas LDA Maritime CEO Matthieu Lavoine to Sinar Mas Tzu Chi Trustee, Hong Tjhin. The CSR donation was provided by Sinarmas LDA Maritime in the form of cash amounting to Rp 250 million for charitable activities. The handover was carried out at Yayasan Sinar Mas Tzu Chi office on Tuesday (10/30/2022).

Sinarmas LDA Maritime CEO Matthieu Lavoine said this activity was an important step taken by Sinarmas LDA Maritime as a form of concern for others. So far, said Matthieu, Sinarmas LDA Maritime believes that Tzu Chi Sinar Mas is the ideal partner, because Sinarmas LDA Maritime and Tzu Chi Sinarmas have the same value and the same willingness to do their best to help Indonesia.

“Through this activity, we hope to make a significant contribution to others. This donation is expected to be useful for many parties in need, especially those related to charity, health, environmental conservation and education. More specifically, we want to contribute to reforestation by providing seeds and planting trees, educational programs and plastic collection,” said Matthieu.

On the other part, Hong Tjhin, Tzu Chi Trustee of Sinar Mas Branch expressed his gratitude for the donation given by Sinarmas LDA Maritime. Tzu Chi Sinar Mas also supports the good intentions of Sinarmas LDA Maritime in making this donation.

We will distribute this assistance through social activities that we usually do, such as social services for cataract health, distribution of rice, and educational scholarships for the underprivileged.
