Alur Biru Pariwisata is proud to announce the arrival of Sanya, a stunning 36-metre Phinisi yacht that redefines authentic luxury travel in Indonesia. Commissioned by PT ABP and developed in collaboration with Pacific High, Sanya represents the perfect harmony of Indonesia’s centuries-old shipbuilding traditions and contemporary yacht design. Completed after 16 months of construction, she showcases the exceptional artistry of Indonesian boatbuilders while delivering the refined comfort and privacy expected by today’s discerning travellers.
For Alur Biru Pariwisata, Sanya is more than just a vessel—it is a statement of our commitment to elevate Indonesia’s position as a premier yachting destination. Designed by Yann Martinie de Maisonneuve, Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of Pacific High, Sanya combines traditional Phinisi heritage with modern sophistication. Her deep navy hull reflects timeless elegance, while interiors highlight the warmth of hand-finished Indonesian woodwork, a tribute to local craftsmanship that anchors the yacht’s identity.
The philosophy behind Sanya’s accommodation is rooted in intimacy and exclusivity. The centrepiece is a spacious master suite on the main deck, an uncommon feature for a yacht of this size. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors frame panoramic ocean views, while a king-sized bed and ensuite bathroom with dual vanities evoke the feel of a private hotel suite. A second cabin on the lower deck offers flexibility for additional guests, children, or crew, ensuring adaptability without compromising the yacht’s intimate scale.
Guests aboard Sanya will discover refined social spaces designed for relaxation and connection—whether enjoying an elegant indoor lounge, dining al fresco in the shaded aft area, or stargazing from the expansive deck. Every detail, from curated materials to subtle lighting, has been carefully considered to create a serene sanctuary at sea.
Powered by a 280HP engine with a steady 7-knot cruising speed, Sanya is ideally suited for Indonesia’s island-hopping adventures. With a dedicated crew of 11, guests can expect attentive yet unobtrusive service, while advanced navigation and safety systems are seamlessly integrated into her traditional design.
“Sanya marks a strategic investment in the future of high-end tourism in Indonesia,” said Matthieu Lavoine, CEO of ABM and ABP. “Through this project, Alur Biru Pariwisata is delivering an exclusive yachting product that meets growing demand for privacy, authenticity, and world-class luxury. Our partnership with Pacific High allows us to honour Indonesian craftsmanship while introducing a new benchmark in hospitality at sea.”
Sanya’s maiden season will focus on Indonesia’s most coveted cruising grounds. She will first set sail in Komodo National Park, offering guests the chance to witness dramatic volcanic landscapes and the famed Komodo dragons of this UNESCO World Heritage site. Starting in October, Sanya will move to Raja Ampat, home to the world’s richest marine biodiversity and a destination increasingly sought after by seasoned charterers looking for authentic wilderness exploration.
“Sanya is designed for those seeking true escape, privacy, and the freedom to explore Indonesia without compromise,” added Yann Martinie de Maisonneuve. “She is not simply a yacht—she is an intimate retreat, purposefully created to deliver transformative experiences.”
With the global trend toward smaller-scale, authentic travel experiences in Southeast Asia, Sanya stands as more than just a charter yacht. She embodies Alur Biru Pariwisata’s vision of creating unique retreats tailored for couples and intimate groups—positioning Indonesia at the forefront of the world’s last great yacht charter frontiers.
