SLM Apollo 3 Officially Launched in Malaysia

Sinarmas LDA Maritime (SLM) has reached another important milestone with the official launch of its newest vessel, SLM Apollo 3, on August 26, 2025. The Twin Screw Tug Boat 2000HP was built at Tuong Aik Shipyard, Sibu – Malaysia, and is now ready to begin its operational journey.

The launch of this vessel is part of SLM’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its fleet in response to the growing demands of shipping and maritime logistics. The presence of SLM Apollo 3 is expected to further enhance efficiency, reliability, and the quality of services the company provides to its clients and business partners.

The ceremony was attended by Thierry Escarabajal, New Building Director of SLM, and Abdullah Ferial Hasan, Assistant Manager Newbuilding of SLM. Their attendance reflects the company’s commitment to ensuring that every vessel launched upholds the highest standards of safety, performance, and quality.

With the addition of this new vessel, Sinarmas LDA Maritime reaffirms its commitment to continuous innovation, growth, and contribution to the national maritime industry, while also strengthening its competitiveness in the international market.
