To commemorate the 80th Anniversary of Indonesia’s Independence, Sinarmas LDA Maritime (SLM) organized a series of Fun Games at its Jakarta headquarters on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. The event brought together employees from various divisions in a lively and spirited atmosphere.

The celebration began with an opening speech from Sinarmas LDA Maritime’s CEO, Matthieu Lavoine. In his remarks, he emphasized that the spirit of Independence Day should carry deeper meaning beyond competition. “The celebration of August 17 is not only about winning games, but also about fostering unity, teamwork, and sportsmanship. I hope that through this event, all SLM employees can strengthen solidarity as we face future challenges and continue contributing to the progress of both the company and the nation,” said Matthieu.

The competitions included a ping pong ball relay (using the head), sack race, and tug-of-war. Each game was filled with energy, laughter, and mutual support, reflecting the strong sense of camaraderie within the SLM family.

The event concluded with an award ceremony, where the prizes were personally handed over by CEO Matthieu Lavoine to the winners. The competition results were as follows:

• Estafet Pingpong dengan Kepala: Dry Ops, HR, and Liquid Ops

• Balap Karung: Dry Ops, HR, and QHSE

• Tarik Tambang: Technical, TCK, and HR Crewing
